Unlike the Canon XA60, the VIXIA HF G70 does not include a detachable handle, XLR audio inputs, or infrared recording.

💻 USB-C Streaming

The HF G70 can output HD video through USB-C using the UVC standard, allowing it to function as a streaming camera with compatible Windows and Mac computers without a separate video-capture device.

A compatible USB-C cable is required and sold separately. Audio is not transmitted through the UVC USB output.

🕒 On-Screen Time-Stamp Recording

On-Screen Display recording can permanently embed information such as date, time, and timecode into the recorded image.

This feature can be useful for documentation, inspections, legal applications, and productions that require visible recording information.
