Versatile 100-400mm Reach

The lens is compatible with Sony’s optional SEL14TC 1.4x and SEL20TC 2x teleconverters.

With the 2x teleconverter attached, the lens reaches 800mm on a full-frame camera. In APS-C format, this combination provides an angle of view equivalent to an extraordinary 1200mm.

Teleconverters are sold separately, and maximum aperture is reduced when one is attached.

Convenient Lens Controls

A customizable focus-hold button provides immediate access to focus lock or another assigned camera function.
