The FX6 uses a back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R sensor designed specifically for professional video production. Its fast readout helps minimize rolling-shutter distortion while providing excellent dynamic range and low-light performance.

The full-frame format produces an immersive field of view and allows greater control over depth of field with compatible Sony E-mount lenses.

🎨 Cinema Line Color

S-Log3 and S-Gamut3.Cine provide more than 15 stops of dynamic range and extensive flexibility for color grading. Cine EI mode supports exposure workflows commonly used in professional cinema production.

🌤️ Electronic Variable ND Filter

Sony’s built-in electronic variable neutral-density filter can be adjusted smoothly from 1/4 to 1/128 density. This allows the operator to control exposure while maintaining the desired aperture, shutter speed, and depth of field.

The ND system can be adjusted manually or set to Auto, allowing exposure to remain consistent as lighting changes without altering the selected aperture.
