A removable sliding tray provides convenient access to both batteries. The grip can operate with either one or two NP-SA100 batteries installed, allowing photographers to choose between reduced weight and maximum operating time.

The tray is designed specifically for the newer NP-SA100 battery and does not accept Sony NP-FZ100 batteries.
