✨ High-Quality 1-Inch Sensor

The ZV-1F uses a 20.1-megapixel, 1-inch Exmor RS sensor that is significantly larger than the sensors found in most smartphones. The larger sensor delivers greater detail, improved low-light performance, and more natural background separation.

It captures high-quality still images for thumbnails and social posts in addition to its video capabilities.

🔭 Ultra-Wide 20mm F2 Lens

The fixed ZEISS Tessar T* lens provides an ultra-wide 20mm-equivalent angle of view. This makes it easier to fit your face, another person, and more of the surrounding environment into the frame while holding the camera at arm’s length.

Its bright F2 aperture gathers plenty of light and can create attractive background blur for close-up subjects. The lens can focus as close as approximately two inches from its front surface, making it useful for products, food, crafts, and detailed demonstrations.

Unlike the original ZV-1, the ZV-1F uses a fixed lens and does not offer optical zoom. Clear Image Zoom and digital zoom are available when tighter framing is needed.

🎯 Intelligent Focus and Tracking

Real-time Eye AF helps keep a person’s eye sharply focused during filming and still photography. The camera can also recognize the eyes of many animals, while Real-time Tracking follows a selected subject as it moves through the frame.

Touch Tracking allows the creator to select a subject directly on the LCD monitor.

📦 Product Showcase Setting

Product Showcase Setting is designed for reviews, demonstrations, tutorials, and online selling. When a product is held toward the camera, focus shifts from the presenter’s face to the item. When the item is lowered, focus returns to the presenter.

This eliminates the need to cover your face or manually move the focus point during a demonstration.

🌟 One-Touch Background Defocus

A dedicated Background Defocus button quickly changes the aperture setting to produce either a softly blurred background or a clearer view of the environment.

The feature gives beginners a simple way to change the appearance of their videos without navigating complicated camera menus.

🎙️ Clear Directional Audio

The built-in directional three-capsule microphone is designed to capture the presenter’s voice clearly while reducing unwanted sound from other directions.

The included windscreen attaches to the Multi Interface Shoe to reduce wind noise when filming outdoors. A 3.5mm microphone input is also provided for an optional external microphone.

🔄 Vari-Angle Touchscreen

The three-inch touchscreen opens to the side and rotates for front-facing, vertical, overhead, and low-angle recording. Because it opens beside the camera, its view is not obstructed by a top-mounted microphone.

A front recording lamp clearly indicates when video recording is active, helping prevent missed takes.

🖐️ Active Electronic Stabilization

Active stabilization uses electronic correction to reduce visible camera shake while recording handheld or walking. This provides smoother footage when an additional crop in the angle of view is acceptable.

The lens itself does not contain optical stabilization.

🎬 4K Video and Creative Features

The ZV-1F records UHD 4K video at up to 30p and Full HD video at up to 120p. Slow & Quick mode can create slow-motion or quick-motion sequences directly in the camera.

Creative Look presets provide a variety of color styles for finished content without requiring extensive editing. Skin-smoothing and face-priority exposure features help produce flattering, consistently exposed results.

💻 Streaming and Mobile Connectivity

The ZV-1F can function as a USB streaming camera when connected to a compatible computer or mobile device through USB-C. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support wireless transfer and remote operation with Sony’s compatible mobile applications.
